The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) serves as a leading voice of SF State students in advocating for campus health and wellness services. As a student organization, staff and faculty look to SHAC to provide informed decisions to positively impact change for the campus community. SHAC meets to discuss different issues relevant to the campus community and works on initiatives/efforts to impact change.
We meet every Monday during the school year from 12-1 in the Student Health Center conference room. Our projects include:
- Consultation with Student Health Services regarding the podiatry fee
- Consultation with the Mental Health Task Force about mental health services at SF State
- Outreach and education
- Stress Relief Day/Summer Kick Off
