  • If you need “me time,” set limits with your friends and loved ones

Intellectual

  • Engage in something creative
  • Research something unfamiliar
  • Read a book or listen to a podcast that is unrelated to school or work
  • Go to an art museum, history exhibit, sports event, or theatre performance

  • Find out more about the cultures you identify with
  • Ask questions to learn more about a friend’s culture

Physical

  • Eat throughout the day to fuel you body
  • Eat your veggies! Add a fruit or vegetable to each of your meals
  • Be active— find an activity you enjoy
  • Avoid getting sick: wash your hands and get regular check-ups
  • Listen to your body, get medical care when you feel something isn’t right
  • Take time to heal when you’re sick
  • Dance or just move your body
  • Treat yourself to a massage
  • Get enough sleep. If you are feeling tired, take a nap or make sure to go to sleep early
